		<description>You are so right Mike.
Front line staff are so very important.
If they give bad service you&#039;re left with a bad taste in your mouth.
Nice post, as always, Ric.

		<description>I couldn&#039;t agree more Ric.

Customer service can be a business saver. I remember having an issue with my car insurance many years ago. Basically the insurers made a mistake. However their customer service team dealt with me superbly and I&#039;ve remained a customer ever since. There are cheaper companies but I am reassured by that one encounter that I&#039;d rather pay a little more and get good service.

Too many companies forget the value of this and the impression their frontline staff can give.

		<description>Ric
Well if the only legacy you leave is &quot;Daughter like Father!!&quot;…then it can’t be all bad..
Agreed with your sentiments re Journos with political views…

I was brought up in a house of Republican/Democrat/Catholic/Agnostic/Atheist household where dinners were always entertaining…especially at Christmas when 5 brothers with a gap of 37 years in ages made for great entertainment..
Picture this… an Italian father more interested in the food, drink, preparation and entertainment of the children, a mother focussed on being the matriarch and in charge of traditional fare, being American Indian, Mexican and Italian…the daughters in law all joined in delivery…Egg nog, coffee, and bourbon freely flowing.

Cast your mind back to the 60&#039;s, no digitial TV&#039;s, so we had 3 TV sets tuned to East Coast, Mid West and West Coast Football(Gridiron Games) from 0900 am.
Then lunch, and raucous laughter and telling of tales and heated debate over something Roosevelt would have said (my mother&#039;s favourite) which would bring a retort from the republican side that either Eisonhower/Nixon or that right wing war monger Goldwater would have lent a credo…
And then, the peaceful naps and photos of the generations in arms on the floor or on the lawn or couches asleep enjoying a rest before commencing the night time festivities and games and more debates…

Those were the days, my friend and may you recount yours as the times fly by…
Merry Christmas..
Your buddy in Safety
