Yesterday I was asked the question: “Why should I join Ric’s Forums?”
The intent and following clarification of the questioner was that with LinkedIn and blogs and everything else around, why would it make sense to pay (a nominal, once-only fee for lifetime membership) to an online business forum.
Ric’s Forums is the anti-LinkedIn. LinkedIn and other social sites are great for some things but they make a lot of noise. Ric’s Forums doesn’t. Instead, Ric’s Forums quiets you down.
Unlike all social media and network sites, you will never be sold or spammed to my members of the forums: it’s against the rules and offenders are warned once and evicted, second. We have, to date, not had to warn anyone, let alone evict and cancel membership of any member. We respect one another within Ric’s Forums.
Most social network sites cause information overload and emotional overwhelm. Not Ric’s Forums. Ric’s Forums provides clarity, focus, intelligent answers and opinions from peers and colleagues who have been there, and done that.
Ric’s Forum is a Members-Only Forum where you can have a free exchange of information, ideas, techniques, opinions and alike with a truly global and collegial community. Ask questions and get help from people in business, not theorists and academics. The current membership comes from 14 countries and range from middle managers to CEOs to the self-employed.
- You can post questions and seek advice from other business leaders.
- Offer your ideas and solutions to questions posed by other members.
- You can engage in business debate.
- Share proven and successful business tips.
- Form valuable relationships with peers from around the world.
- Follow threads on leadership, management, strategy, marketing, selling, negotiation and much more …
